Ignore This if you Simply Don't Care
When did people stop taking pride in creating something entirely on their own? Using their own skills and their own talent, and nurturing or developing what they don't have?
What happened to making an effort to get better, through practice, maybe studying or asking someone further along for help?
Somewhere along the line, someone decided it was ok to hide behind ripping someone else off, working off of a better artists efforts.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not ragging on blanks or edits (though mine have come down today). A properly credited, highly modified blank can be a great piece of art. Blank editing taught me to colour and shade and, now, I'm trying not to rely on it anymore. Its still fun, it can still be a great picture. I personally have just chosen to move on.

I'm talking about tracing. I'm talking about character or design theft. I'm talking about taking something someone else did and, without permission or credit, pretending its yours.

Even worse? Doing just that, then hiding behind a screen of finger pointing.
Thats all I have to say. Time to eat noodles.
