Pheeeew! This one took a while. It was made using Song of Amazon's [url=[link] Art[/url] for her contest on Tower of Time, celebrating its EIGHTH anniversary.

I had a LOT of fun with this, even if it took forever. Here's what I did:
I traced over SoA's line art in my style (with her permission of course) with my tablet in PS. Looking at the line art you can see the difference in our styles. Songy's is more of a classic manga style (her hair in particular is VERY Takeuchi, to me) while mine leans a bit more towards realism or modern manga (I try to imitate Yazawa Ai a bit too much).
I make the bodies curvier too, more cheese-cakey, which I love on some of the poses SoA already decided on (I think it really suits Mars) and we all know I can't draw girls without giving them great huge boobs... I'm working on it -_-;
Also, for some reason my style requires Sailor Saturn to have six fingers on each hand. I noticed that LONG after I could fix it.

After the line art was half finished, saved over, and drawn again, I moved onto colouring. I'm still playing with this new style of eye, but only stuck with the new clothes shading for Jupiter, because I still don't know if I like it. Do you think she looks a little different?

I like my style of hair, and I think that turned out pretty well, with the exception of Cosmos.

Next I made a starry background focusing on Cosmos and hid it so I could work around it. I finished colouring by using a transparent gradient on each girls cape so it faded to blank. I turned the background back on and... voila!
